Farmhouse Reconstruction

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were appointed to deliver the demolition of an existing farmhouse and the construction of a new five-bedroom detached residence on the cleared site.

The project began with the safe removal of all existing structures and full site clearance, followed by the construction of the new dwelling in accordance with approved architectural plans and current building regulations. Every stage was carefully managed to ensure quality, safety and compliance.

Successful delivery of the project was underpinned by a highly collaborative approach. Close coordination between the client, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors enabled efficient planning, clear communication and timely problem-solving throughout. This teamwork ensured that all demolition logistics and construction sequencing were carried out smoothly, maintaining momentum and avoiding delays.

Value engineering was applied across the build to manage costs effectively while maintaining the high specification expected of the project. The works were completed to the full satisfaction of the client, on time, within budget and to exceptional quality standards.

Hard Lane

Full Property Renovation

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were appointed to undertake a full renovation of a distinguished period home, restoring its original character while introducing high-quality modern finishes throughout. The project involved a meticulous refurbishment of both the interior and exterior, preserving key architectural details such as the original mosaic-tiled hallway floor, bespoke sash windows, Victorian-style radiators, high ceilings, and ornate architraves and skirting. Each element was carefully repaired, refinished, or replicated to ensure the property’s period charm was retained.

Internally, the layout was fully reconfigured to suit modern living, creating bright and functional spaces. All areas were completed with premium fixtures, fittings and finishes to complement the traditional design. Externally, works included new wrought-iron railings to the front elevation, extensive brick and stone restoration and a landscaped rear garden with high-quality paving to provide a low-maintenance space.

Thornhill, Aughton

Contemporary Masterpiece 

Stanley Construction Services Ltd, in collaboration with MSA Architects, is proud to showcase the completion of 6 Thornhill in the prestigious Granville Park conservation area of Aughton.

This striking new-build residence spans over 5,300 sq. ft. across four levels, combining cutting-edge design with the highest standards of craftsmanship. The result is a truly exceptional home that redefines modern luxury living.

Our role encompassed the full demolition of the existing dwelling and the delivery of a complete turnkey solution for the client. From concept to completion, we ensured a seamless process and outstanding quality throughout.

The project was met with the client’s full satisfaction, and we are delighted to continue our partnership with them on their next development.

Glenvine

Bespoke Six Bedroom Residence

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were appointed under a JCT contract, with contractor-led design responsibilities, to create a bespoke six-bedroom residence on a former brownfield site. The property features a reinforced concrete basement designed to accommodate parking, a gym, games room, and sauna.

Attention to detail was paramount. A central oak staircase, with elegantly curved handrails rising from the ground floor through to the attic, provides a striking architectural feature. All internal joinery was hand-crafted in oak, complementing the home’s refined interior.

Externally, the façade was designed as a defining statement. Stone was sourced exclusively from Scotland, with specialist stonemasons procured through recommendations by the Chartered Institute of Architects.

Despite variations introduced at the client’s request during the build, the project was delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard. Following completion, SCS were retained by the client to undertake the conversion of a former Methodist chapel in Rainford Village into their new office headquarters.

Rainford

Luxury Family Home

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were awarded the shell contract for the construction of a luxury detached family home in the semi-rural village of Rainford.

This bespoke property features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with open-plan living spaces at ground level designed to maximize space and light. Traditional construction methods were used, including brick and block-work, block and beam flooring, and a timber roof with slate coverings. Full-height windows and vaulted ceilings were incorporated to capture the stunning south-west facing views over open farmland.

Working closely with both the client and architect, several internal design elements were refined during the build to achieve the desired balance of aesthetics, practicality, and comfort. The project was successfully delivered in just 20 weeks — on time, on budget and to the client’s complete satisfaction.

Higher Lane

Repeat Client Success

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were appointed to deliver two luxury homes on Higher Lane, Rainford, following a successful partnership with a valued client.

The first project involved the construction of a spacious detached bungalow on a garden plot. Delivered as a full turnkey solution, the home was completed to an exceptionally high standard, on time and within budget. A ten-year NHBC warranty and building control certificate were provided upon completion. The client was so pleased with the outcome that the property was quickly sold as an investment.

Impressed by the quality and service, the client awarded SCS the contract for their own personal residence on the adjoining plot. This second project comprised a luxury four-bedroom, three-bathroom home of traditional brick and blockwork construction, with an oak-framed garden room to the rear. The interior was designed around open-plan living and dining, with a modern, contemporary feel throughout.

Both projects were completed to the client’s full satisfaction, further strengthening SCS’s reputation for delivering high-quality turnkey homes on time and within budget.
