Provimi Cargill

Canteen, Locker Room & WC Refurbishment

Having previously worked successfully with the client, Stanley Construction Services Ltd were invited to return to deliver a new canteen, locker room, and WC refurbishment scheme.

During the early stages, it became clear that the original proposal exceeded the client’s budget expectations. Working collaboratively with the client’s team and external consultants, SCS re-designed and developed a revised scheme, managing all aspects from pre-construction design through to local authority coordination. A full turnkey solution was then provided, ensuring the project aligned with both cost and operational requirements.

The works began with a complete strip-out of the existing facilities, carefully maintaining the integrity of adjoining offices to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations. Civil and structural alterations were carried out alongside new building works, with the upgraded areas installed, commissioned, and handed over as required.

The project was successfully delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s complete satisfaction.

Feralco

Civil Works & Site Remodeling

Having partnered successfully on numerous occasions, Feralco once again appointed Stanley Construction Services Ltd to deliver a full Design & Build project, from initial ground surveys through to the completion of all civil works.

The scheme involved a comprehensive remodeling of site access, including new drainage, the relocation of a weighbridge, road alterations, tank removals and the repositioning of offices. All works were carried out while the site remained fully operational, requiring careful planning and coordination to accommodate the continuous movements of HGV deliveries and collections throughout each working day.

Through close collaboration with the client and effective logistical management, SCS delivered the project safely, on time and to Feralco’s complete satisfaction.

Proctor & Gamble

Warehouse Roof Renovation

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were appointed by Procter & Gamble to carry out the renovation of the warehouse storage roof, originally installed in the 1970s. Over time, the roof had undergone numerous patch repairs, but the ageing covering had begun to fail, allowing water ingress into the product storage areas.

The project began with the safe removal of the existing roof edge fall protection, replaced with temporary access platforms and edge protection to ensure secure access and working conditions. The stone chippings and primary roof coverings were then stripped back to the liner sheet, with necessary repairs carried out before installing a new bitumastic felt system to provide a durable and watertight finish.

To minimise disruption, the works were phased into four sections and carefully coordinated with the client to maintain full business operations throughout.

The project was successfully completed on time, within budget, and to Procter & Gamble’s full satisfaction.

Renold Gears

Machine Pit Infill

Feralco appointed Stanley Construction Services Ltd to design and deliver the infill of an existing machine pit to facilitate the relocation of plant within their factory.

Working in collaboration with our structural engineer, the required design solution was developed to meet both structural and operational needs. The pit was located in the central hub of the fabrication area, making uninterrupted access around the works a key priority.

To ensure production was not disrupted, the programme was carefully planned and executed outside of main manufacturing run times. Close coordination with the site team and operational staff allowed the works to be carried out safely and efficiently.

The project was completed on time, within budget and to Feralco’s full satisfaction.

Warrington Fabrications

RC Multifaceted Pit Construction

Stanley Construction Services Ltd were appointed by Warrington Fabrications to construct a new reinforced concrete pit to accommodate specialist manufacturing equipment within their live operational facility. The project involved working in a confined area with restricted access, requiring careful planning, precise execution and strict adherence to safety procedures.

The pit included multiple stepped faces and complex internal features, demanding accurate setting-out and bespoke formwork to achieve the required tolerances. All works from excavation and reinforcement installation to staged concrete pours were completed while maintaining ongoing workshop operations.

Close coordination with the client ensured efficient sequencing, allowing the project to be delivered within a tight shutdown programme. The completed structure was handed over with full QA documentation, and its accuracy enabled equipment installation without any modification.

The project was delivered safely, on time and to Warrington Fabrications’ complete satisfaction.
